This hand-forged replica of the Shusui sword is crafted from clay-tempered folded 1095 high carbon steel, ensuring exceptional strength and durability.

The blade of this Zoro-inspired katana features a visible undulating grain pattern, achieved through the traditional folding process repeated 13 times during forging. Each blade undergoes meticulous heat treatment and hand-forging to eliminate impurities, followed by an oxidation process that creates a striking black spine with a vibrant red cutting edge. The clay tempering technique combines toughness and flexibility, resulting in a genuine hamon (temper line) that enhances both its aesthetic and functional qualities.

The sword is complemented by a black lacquered hardwood saya adorned with custom paintings, dark blue silk ito, and high-quality brass fittings. The tang is securely fastened into the handle with two bamboo mekugi and features a hand-engraved Mei (signature).
