This Iaito Katana is great value for money. It features our hand forged and polished 1060 carbon steel blade, made for optimal balance and handling. This is a more traditional choice than many of the zinc aluminum alloy blades available. Our steel blades are ground up to give perfect balance for regular Iaido & Kenjutsu practice. The blade comes unsharpened by default, and the customer may select free sharpening service. The sword features a dark green lacquered hardwood saya, silk sageo/ito, solid alloy fittings, genuine same’ (rayskin) and silk wrapped tsuka (handle). The Katana is well assembled and the ito wrapping is tight and even. Every sword is handmade individually so specifications may vary slightly.
