Katana – 1060 High Carbon Steel Katana

This Martial Arts Katana delivers exceptional quality at an affordable price. Crafted with a hand-forged and polished 1060 high-carbon steel blade, it is designed for superior balance and handling, making it an ideal choice for traditional martial arts practice. Unlike many zinc-aluminum alloy blades, this sword offers a more authentic and durable option. The blade is meticulously engineered to provide perfect balance for regular Iaido and Kenjutsu training. By default, the blade comes unsharpened, but customers can opt for a complimentary sharpening service. The Katana features a black lacquered hardwood saya, silk sageo/ito, alloy fittings, genuine rayskin (same’), and a silk-wrapped tsuka (handle). Each sword is carefully assembled, with tight and even ito wrapping. As each Katana is individually handmade, slight variations in specifications may occur.
