The blade of this katana is hand-forged from 9260 Spring Steel without a bohi, offering exceptional durability and performance. Designed with medium niku, the blade is well-suited for cutting medium traditional targets. It features a chu kissaki tip for precise performance. The 9260 Spring Steel construction ensures incredible flexibility, allowing the blade to return to its original shape even after bending to nearly 90 degrees.
The sword’s habaki is crafted from two-piece antiqued brass, while the seppas are made of brass as well. The solid steel tsuba has a wave-themed design, adding elegance and functionality. The tsuka is equipped with a double-pinned mekugi and alloy wave menuki for added security and aesthetic appeal. Genuine ray skin (same) wraps the handle, complemented by black ito in a traditional hinerimaki style with alternating crossovers.
The saya is made from hardwood with a striking white and black fumy finish, fitting snugly to secure the blade. This katana is both visually stunning and highly functional, embodying traditional craftsmanship.
