Expertly crafted with traditional methods, this fully functional sword is perfect for test cutting. It also makes an excellent choice as a collection piece or as a gift for friends.

KATANA BLADE: The blade is forged from T10 steel in a Maru style, heat-treated, and oil-quenched for durability and sharpness. Featuring an extremely sharp, hand-honed edge, the blade is finished with a traditional hand-polishing technique, resulting in a mirror-like surface.

KATANA HANDLE: The handle core is crafted from hardwood and wrapped in a hinerimaki-style ito with alternating crossovers for enhanced tightness and durability. The red raykin (samegawa) is genuine, and the tsuba, fuchi, and koshira are made of alloy. The tang is secured with two bamboo mekugi for stability.

KATANA SHEATH: The saya is made of hardwood with a glossy finish. The sageo is crafted from synthetic silk and tied over a wooden kurigata with golden shitedome. The kurigata is positioned at an optimal distance from the koiguchi to ensure easy and smooth sword release.
